Overview
The Shine Foundation is a community-based, federally registered
charity.
The Foundation’s primary objective is to
foster Canadian musical talent by promoting music education,
performance and production in the National Capital Region and
throughout Canada. Its mission is to bring music into the
lives of all Canadians at any age, level and stage of musical
development.
As a major part of its mandate, Shine works
with schools and community organizations to advance music
education and curricula. Shine specializes in the creation of
youth bands, and actively participates in regional and national
Musicfests each academic year.
